Ray Levan, 86, of Ruscombmanor Township, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 9:30 am in Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara E. (Noll) Levan. Born in Oley Township, Mr. Levan was the son of the late Victor and Emma (Hassler) Levan. He was employed by Empire Steel Company in Reading as a furnace operator and served in the United States Navy. Mr. Levan was a former member of Rusco Rod & Gun Club, enjoyed baseball, occasionally going to the Casinos, hunting, fishing and nature in general. He was a loving father to Thomas R. Levan, husband of Tina M. Levan of Fleetwood, a loving grandfather to Amy B. Pinsk and Joel D. Levan and a loving great grandfather to Samuel, Willa, Julianna and Lydia. Mr. Levan is also survived by his sister Jane Seyler of Temple and his brother Robert Levan, husband of Helen Levan of Fleetwood and was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Interment will be held a the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ 3713 Pricetown Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522 in memory of Mr. Ray Levan.
