Ralph Rennard, Jr.

Ralph L. Rennard, Jr. 95, of Brecknock Township, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 9:06 am in the Highlands at Wyomissing Post-Acute Rehabilitation Center.  He was the husband of the late Katharine D. (Davis) Rennard.  Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Mr. Rennard was the son of the late Ralph L. Rennard, Sr. and Ruth (Tellison) Rennard.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Reading and served in the United States Army during World War II.  Mr. Rennard was a high school history teacher in the Toms River School District, Toms River, NJ until his retirement.  He was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Phillies, Detroit Tigers, and St. Louis Cardinals.   He is survived by his children Virginia R. Adametz, wife of Joseph M. Adametz, Jr. with whom he last resided; Peter R. Rennard, husband of Sherry Rennard of Seal Beach, CA; Mark H. Rennard, husband of the late Kelly Rennard of NY; Reverend Thomas G. Rennard, husband of Reverend Sandy Tice of San Bernardino, CA and his 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Mr. Rennard is also survived by his sister Muriel R. Kerr of Richmond, VA and was preceded in death by siblings Lillian and George.

Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church 510 Park Ave. Reading, PA 19611, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11:00 am.  Reverend Russell Weidel and Reverend William Walters will officiate.  Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle, NJ.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Calvary Baptist Church, Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church at the above address in memory of Mr. Ralph L.
