Ralph Pingitore

Ralph J. Pingitore, 89, of Reading, passed away April 7, 2016 in Mifflin Center.
He was the husband of Stella M. (Bonanno) Pingitore.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Francesco and Rosina (DeMaio) Pingitore.
Ralph was a member of Mt. Penn-Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was employed at Firestone Tire and Rubber Company in Pottstown for many years.
Ralph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Surviving in addition to his wife Stella is a daughter Lori J. Matz, wife of Richard, Reading; grandson Daniel J. Matz; two great-grandchildren Isaiah and Grace. He was predeceased by a daughter Rosann Geisinger. Other survivors include nephews William Sweimler, Andrew and Frank Pingitore; niece Susan Pingitore and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings Nicholas Pingitore, Louis Pingitore, Andrew D'Agostino, Nancy Sweimler and Frances Pingitore.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice Compassus and Mifflin Center for the wonderful care that was given to Ralph during his time of illness.

Funeral Services will be held in Bean Funeral Homes, 129 East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 11:00am. Entombment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive relatives and friends 10:00-11:00am.
