Ralph Gerhart

Ralph F. Gerhart, 99, of Topton formerly of Pennside, passed away December 7, 2010 at 6:30 AM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center where he was a patient since December 5th. He was the husband of Mae E. (Schlegel) Gerhart. Born in Reading on April 20, 1911, he was the son of the late Henry R. and Catherine (Fair) Gerhart.

He was a 1929 graduate of Reading High School. Ralph served in the US Navy during World War 2. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Topton, a former Elder of Community UCC and was a member of Chandler Lodge # 227 F. & A.M.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter Renee Marie (Gerhart) wife of Thomas H. Neiman of Pottstown, 3 grandchildren Gregory Neiman husband of Nicole Gerhart, Nicole Neiman-Berry and Michael Neiman and a great grandchild Collin Neiman.
