Pietro Buglino

Pietro Buglino, 63, of Womelsdorf, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at The Reading Hospital, with his family and friends by his side. He was the loving husband to MariaRosa (Russo), whom he shared over 26 years of marriage with. Born in Casteldaccia, Italy, Pietro was the son of the late Ignazio Buglino, and Giuseppa (Barreca). Pietro was the owner of Piero Pizzeria, where he worked and welcomed the Reading community for over 25 years. He will always be remembered for his kindness and selflessness, his welcoming smile, and his genuine friendship and leadership. 

In addition to his wife Maria, Pietro is survived by his children, Tanina Habib, wife of Mina, of Hawthorne, NJ, Peter Buglino, of Sarasota FL, Sara Incandela, wife of Massimo, Loredana Buglino-Ciorlieri, wife of Chris Ciorlieri, and Annalisa Buglino, all of Womelsdorf. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Angelo, Luca, Mia, Alessia, with another grandson on the way, as well as his siblings Nunzio Buglino, and Silvana Ferro.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ignatius of Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2600 St. Albans Drive, Reading, PA 19609 on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM, Father Thomas Bortz, Celebrant. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave, Shillington, PA 19607 on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, February 3, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM.
