Paul E. Kohl, 88, of Grill, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 7:55 a.m. at the residence of his daughter, Karen Quinley.
Born in Mohnton, he was the son of the late Edward P. Kohl and Ellen N. (Weitzel) Kohl. He was the widower of Lucetta E. (Good) Kohl, who passed away on October 19, 2002.
He served during World War II as a Tech Sgt. with the Army Air Corps. He was a member of Christ Yocom's Lutheran Church in Grill. He was a life member of the Curmu Twp. Lions Club, and past recipient of hte Melvin Jones Fellow Award. He was a life member of the Grill Fire Co., and a member of the Senior Citizen group in Mohnton.
He worked in Maintenance at Polymer Corp. for 18 years, retiring in 1985.
He is survived by his son: Dennis P. Kohl, husband of Karin Kohl of Cranston, Rhode Island; and a daughter: Karen L. (Kohl), wife of William Quinley of Birdsboro.
There are also four grandchildren: Joseph, Laura, Emily, and Adam; and three great grandchildren: Christian, Rowan, and Catherine.
He is also survived by two sisters: Carolyn (Kohl), wife of Norman Dimock or Oregon, and Betty (Kohl), widow of Stewart Weik of Wernersville.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is pre deceased by a sister: Shirley (Kohl) Moyer.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association of Pottstown, 1963 East High St., Pottstown, PA 19464.
