Paul Horneij Sr

Paul Q. Horneij Sr., 82, of Exeter Twp., formerly of Tennessee and Indiana, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 7:25 a.m. at Berkshire Center, where he had been a patient for three years.

Born in Richmond, VA, he was the son of the late Ernest Horneij and Katherine (Whitehurst) Horneij.

He was the husband of Marlene (Smith) Horneij of Exeter Twp. The couple shared 52 wonderful years of marriage.

He worked as a pressman for the former Budd Automotive Co. in Philadelphia for 30 years, retiring in 1989.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons: Paul W. Horneij Jr. of Wisconsin and Mark E. Horneij of Pottstown; and his daughter: Lori (Horneij) Hoag of Douglassville.

There are also three grandchildren: Jessica, Sarah, and Caitlin.
