Paul K. Haring

Paul K. Haring, 80, of Wyomissing, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, in his home. He was the loving husband to Cheryl W. (Calvaresi), who he shared 56 years of marriage with. Born in Reading, Paul was the son of the late Paul K. Haring and Anita (Heine). Paul was a graduate of Central Catholic, class of 1962 and went on to serve in the United States Army. He retired from Met Ed after 34 years in management. He also obtained his Master Electricians License, and ran his own business Paul K. Haring Electric for many years.

Paul was an avid golfer, and always enjoyed the 19th hole with his “ Cronies”. He always talked about how lucky he was to have two “holes in ones.”.He enjoyed all kinds of sports, and was a loyal fan to the Phillies and Penn State Football!!He had a passion for travel and enjoyed many trips to different parts of the world with Cheryl. They especially enjoyed cruising, and logged in over one year of their life at sea. He always enjoyed family vacations, and lots of time spent at the family beach house in Ocean City New Jersey. Among his fondest memories were the Redner trips, and meeting the wonderful people on them!

Having seven grandchildren, many trips were made to Disney.  He would always say I’m “Disneyed Out” with a twinkle in his eye. He always had so many “Paulisms” and we will surely miss them! One of his life‘s finest enjoyment was watching his children’s and grandchildren’s goals and accomplishments coming true. He always enjoyed attending events and sporting events for them!

In addition to his wife Cheryl, Paul is survived by his children, Kristin L. Caccese, of South Heidelberg Township, Jan E. Bertolet, wife of Joe, of Spring Township, his grandchildren, Andrew, Abigail, Samuel, Gino, Brady, Kolby and Connor. He is also survived by his brother, Douglas Haring, of Bern Township.

Funeral Service for Paul will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM, in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring. Entombment to follow in Laureldale Cemetery.
