Paul Harbach

Paul C. Harbach, 95, formerly of Wyomissing Hills, passed away April 12, 2010 at 3:50 PM in Wyomissing Nursing & Rehab Center where he resided since October 2009. He was predeceased by 2 wives M. Christina (Moore) Harbach in 1972 and Alice G. (Gicker) Harbach on May 4, 1998. Born in Reading on January 21, 1915, he was the son of the late Paul D. and Rose R. (Gehrleindaub) Harbach.

Mr. Harbach was a self employed jeweler for 50 years at Harbach's Jewelry Store on Schuylkill Ave. in Reading until retiring in 1980.

He was a charter member of St. Ignatius Loyola RCC, a Life Member of Sinking Spring Fire Company, Past President and Secretary of former Reading Jeweler's Guild, a member of Green Valley Country Club for 78 A½ years, member of Rotary International and former sergeant of arms at North East Reading Rotary Club.

Surviving are a son Paul C. Harbach Jr. husband of Mariann E. Harbach of Gap, a daughter Margaret M. (Harbach) wife of Robert A. Wertley of Henderson, NV, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
