Paul Bair, Jr.

Paul E. Bair, Jr., 84, of Wyomissing, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in the Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Florence (Mengel) and Paul E. Bair, Sr. He was the beloved husband of Judith M. (Christener) Bair, together they shared 42 years of marriage. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Bohrer Reagan as an HVAC Estimator then as a Consultant until he retired at the age of 80. Paul was a member of the First Church of the Brethren and served as the Church Council President for some time. Also, he was the former President of the Colony Park Civic Association. Paul enjoyed daily crossword puzzles each evening, and books read by his wife while he ate a bagel and drank coffee. He loved dogs, especially Shih Tzus. He liked to spend quality time with those he loved.

In addition to his wife, Judith, Paul is survived by his children, Bret T. Bair, husband of Becky of Leesport, Polly-jo Lai, wife of John of California, his step son, Timothy Shuler, of Shillington, and his step daughter, Laurie D. Toshack, wife of Jim of Lancaster. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and his sister, Ruthann Palms, of North Carolina.
