Patsy Spadafora

Patsy F. Spadafora, 85, formerly of Reading, passed away November 26, 2008 at 1:05 PM in ManorCare Health Services Inc, Sinking Spring where he was a patient for 2 months. He was the husband of Esther D. (DiMascio) Spadafora who passed away in January of 1999. Born in Reading, on September 16, 1923, he was the son of the late Antonio C. and Cecelia (Torchia) Spadafora.
He and his wife were co- owners of Esther's Restaurant, first located on South 2nd Street and later moving to 8th & Penn Streets for 30 years. He later served as a District Justice until his retirement in 1982.
Mr. Spadafora was predeceased by a daughter JoAnn A. Rizzuto. He is survived by a niece Mary J. Banco of Wyomissing Hills, 3 grandchildren Katie (Rizzuto) Murray, Louis M. Rizzuto and Ann E. Rizzuto, 2 great grandchildren and numerous other nieces and nephews.
