Patricia Prutzman

April 8, 1953 — December 14, 2018

A 32 year breast cancer survivor, Patricia L. (Jacobs) Prutzman, lost her battle with ovarian cancer on Friday, December 14, 2018 with family and friends by her side. Born in Reading on April 8, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Alfred R. and Dorothy E. (Berrett) Jacobs. Pat was an LPN last working at Sacred Heart Villa in Muhlenberg Township. She loved birds, flowers and gardening and was an avid collector of angels and tea pots. One of her favorite things was camping, especially at Promise Land State Park. Pat is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ronald L. Prutzman and sons Craig A. Prutzman, husband of Rachel Prutzman of Mertztown and Shane J. Prutzman, husband of Christa Prutzman of Lititz and her grandchildren Gabrielle, Daniel, Joseph and Julia. Also surviving are her sisters Sandra Moyer, Beverly Jacobs, D. Louise Zerbe, Jane Jacobs, Alison Wydowski and sister in law Diane Cahill along with many nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by twin brothers Raymond and Ronald Jacobs and nieces Tara Kerns and Cindy Heiser.
Memorial Service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Reverend Robert A. Witmyer will officiate. Interment will follow in Oley Cemetery, Spangesville. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Tuesday 12 Noon to 1:00 pm. Contributions may be made to Salem United Church of Christ 307 Covered Bridge Road, Oley, PA 19547 in memory of Mrs. Patricia L. Prutzman. Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
