Patricia Mcmanus

Patricia Davis McManus, 86, died on November 15, 2015 at Phoebe Berks Health Care Center. She was born on November 13, 1929 to Esther and Edward Davis in Kingston, PA. She was a member of Kingston High School class of 1947. She graduated from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY with BA and M.Ed. degrees. In 1953 she married Lawrence R. McManus. After he completed his PhD studies at Cornell University, they relocated to Hamilton College in Clinton, NY. She returned to teaching in 1965 at Clinton (NY) High School and retired in 1984. In 2002 she moved to Brooks Estates at Wesley Village, Pittston, PA; and later moved to Heritage of Green Hills, Reading, PA. She is survived by two daughters, Edith Keating of Palo Alto, CA and Alice Richards, wife of Jim, of Shillington, PA; and two grandchildren, Michael Keating and Brian Keating, both of Palo Alto, CA. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
