Patricia T. Levengood

Patricia T. Levengood, 92, of Amity Township, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024 at 4:45 pm at Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late E. Gerald Levengood who passed away July 16, 2020. Born in Norristown, Mrs. Levengood was the daughter of the late Raymond and Alice (Swearer) Tobias. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Douglassville where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and Council Secretary. Mrs. Levengood was a 1949 graduate of Amity High School and served as Administrative Secretary for Daniel Boone High School for 31 years retiring in 1994. She served as Treasurer of the Amity High School Alumni Association and as Secretary of the Amity Friendship Circle. Mrs. Levengood was a volunteer at Berkshire Center for many years and was an avid reader and Philadelphia Phillies Fan. She is survived by her sons Douglas A. Levengood husband of Debra L. Levengood of Milton, Delaware and Robin S. Levengood husband of Sandra K. Levengood of Birdsboro and was preceded in death by her daughter Bonita L. Moser. Mrs. Levengood is also survived by her grandchildren Chad E. Moser, Kyle D. Levengood, Kris A. Levengood, Hallie A. Levengood, Ryan C. Levengood and her great grandchildren Grant C. Moser and Charlotte G. Moser. Also surviving is her brother Lawrence P. Tobias of Amity Township and was preceded in death by her sisters Alyse Charlesworth and Wanda Budich.

Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 548 Old Swede Road Douglassville, Friday, August 9, 2024 at 10:00 am. Reverend Gregory W. Frey will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Union Cemetery, Amity Township. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Friday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at the above address in memory of Mrs. Patricia T. Levengood.
