Patricia M. Fleckenstein

Patricia M. Fleckenstein, 81, of Wernersville, passed away April 16, 2025, at Penn State Health St. Joseph. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Alexander C. and Anna (Puwalski) Kocan.

Patricia is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Thomas R. and survived by her sons Thomas D. and David B. and his wife Kelly L. (Thomas), grandchildren Brian T., Matthew D. and Megan A.

She is also predeceased by brothers Alexander J. Kocan and Edward J. Kocan and sisters Geraldine A. Kocan and Theresa B. (Kocan) Zeiber.

She is also survived by Sister-in-law Mary Anne, wife of John Gilbert, nieces Michelle A. Evans (Zeiber), Denise L. Shaak (Zeiber), Aimee J. Sargent (Steven) and Kristen M. Osorio (Luis), six great nephews, two great nieces and two great great nieces.

Patricia was a loving wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. She received her teaching certification at Alvernia to teach 3rd grade at St. Mary’s Parish, and later taught CCD at a later home parish. Her most joyous times were holidays, events and vacationing with her family and grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday April 22, 2025, 11:00 am, at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church in Robesonia, where she was a member, followed by the Internment at Gethsemane Cemetery in Laureldale, PA, 1:00 pm where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
