Pamela J. (Barone) Ward

Pamela J. (Barone) Ward, 71, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in her home. Born in Abington, she was the daughter of the late Katherine A. Hinkle and Albert T. Barone. She graduated from Hatboro-Horsham School District in 1971. Pam married the love of her life and best friend, Stephen G. Ward, on June 7, 1975. She was a school bus driver for Governor Mifflin School District for 15 years before retiring in April of 2022. She loved animals, especially cats, dogs, and parakeets. Pam was very family oriented. She cherished being a mother and grandmother. In the past, Pam and Stephen would lift weights and play racket ball together. They enjoyed traveling to some of their favorite places, Ocean City, NJ, Bethany Beach, DE, and Ormond Beach, FL. 

 In addition to her husband, Stephen, Pam is survived by her children, Michelle L. Ward, wife of Shawn Cahill of Gilbertsville, Stephen G. Ward, Jr., husband of Melissa Yerkes of Ormond Beach, FL, her grandchildren, Chase, Lillian, Lee, Jack, and Nicholas, her siblings, Linda Reeves-Rumer, wife of Christopher Rumer, and Nathan Barone, companion of Tina Parkin Warren, and her sister-in-law, Donna Ward. Pam is preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Hall, Loraine DeJuilo, Anthony Barone, and John Barone.

 Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Mrs. Pamela J. Ward to either, Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 or to ASPCA at aspca.org.
