Oralea Sweitzer

Oralea H. Sweitzer, 89, formerly of Reading, passed away December 12 2009 at 5:35 AM in ManorCare Health Services- Laureldale where she resided since January 26, 2006. She was the wife of Raymond A. Sweitzer who passed away July 26, 1990. Born in Reading on April 3, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Edna B. (Houptley) Bingaman.

Surviving are a son Orville L. Sweitzer and his wife Darlene K. Sweitzer of Westborough, MA, a daughter Carol A. Shaaber of Wyomissing, 2 grandchildren Valerie L. Smith and her husband Bill and Stephen O. Sweitzer, a great granddaughter Andrea Smith, a brother Harry O. Bingaman and his wife Esther Bingaman of Blandon and 2 sisters Larue (Bingaman) widow of Francis Landis of Fleetwood and Vivian (Bingaman) widow of Earnest Stump of Kutztown.

Mrs. Sweitzer was a member of Grace Alsace United Church of Christ in Reading.
