Olive Swavely

Olive D. Swavely, 96, formerly of West Lawn, passed away April 9, 2010 at 1:25 am in ManorCare Health Services, West Reading a resident for 4 years. She was the wife of the late Raymond L. "Hap" Swavely who passed away December 10, 1998. Born in Orwigsburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles Samuel and Lottie Mae(Kramer) Freed. Mrs. Swavely was employed by the former Rosedale Knitting Mill in Laureldale for 9 years as an examiner and topper retiring in 1947. She is survived by her son Raymond L. husband of Patricia E. Swavely of Cumru Township and her granddaughters Meredith P. wife of Jeff T. Palermo and Rachel L. Swavely.
