Nancy Taylor

Nancy Taylor, 85, of Leesport, passed away on August 10, 2019 at her residence.

She was the wife of Fred Alan Taylor. Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage.

Born in Leigh, Lancashire County, England, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Annie (Wheeler) Parsons.

While living in England, Nancy was employed as a secretary to the sales manager for Qualcast Foundry. After moving to the United States, she was employed as a secretary for Berks Visiting Nurses for 15 years. Nancy enjoyed sewing and was known to make clothing and aprons. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and was known for her gardening, especially her rose garden.

She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Olivia Taylor and brothers Oram and Frank Parsons.

In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her children: Russell Derek Taylor, husband of Sandy of Hartford, CT and Zoe Taylor Rounds, wife of Chad of Denver, CO. Also surviving are grandchildren: Samuel Rounds and Teighan
Taylor as well as a niece, Linda Hickman, wife of Laurence of Leigh, England.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
