Miriam Gibson

Miriam E. Gibson, 84, of Wyomissing, formerly of West Lawn, passed away January 26, 2009 at 7:15 am in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center a patient since January 17, 2009. She was taken to the hospital from Country Meadows of Wyomissing where she resided since April of 2007. She was the wife of the late Luther E. Gibson who passed away February 12, 2007. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Katie(Miller) Hunsberger. Mrs. Gibson was a 1941 graduate of Shillington High School and a member of Advent Lutheran Church in West Lawn. She was a bookkeeper for Vicary's Men's Store in West Reading for 25 years, retiring in 1989. Mrs. Gibson is survived by a son Michael C. husband of Karen C. Gibson of Exton and a daugter Carol A. wife of Allen V. Mickalonis of Orwigsburg along with grandchildren Scott A. Mickalonis; Lisa A. Juliano; Brent M. and Lauren B. Gibson and great grandchildren Emily Mickalonis; Brandon Juliano; Sarah Mickalonis.
