Miriam Boyer

Miriam E. (Wert) Boyer, 92, formerly of Riverview Park, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Phoebe Berks Nursing Center, where she had been a patient for two and a half months.

Born in Muhlenberg Twp., she was a daughter of the late Howard S. Wert, and Stella M. (Koch) Wert. She was the widow of William K. Boyer, who passed away on January 21, 1989.

She worked as a Needle Dimpler for the former Arrow Intl. for 21 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. Thomas United Church of Christ.

She is survived by two brothers: Warren R. Wert of Sinking Spring, and Carl V. Wert of Flying Hills, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was pre deceased by sisters: Catherine (Wert) Pittman, Helen (Wert) Hafer; and brothers: Paul H. Wert, Arthur L. Wert, Norman Wert, and Ralph Wert.
