Mildred Ringler

March 29, 1919 — March 14, 2016

Mildred N. (Rothenberger) Ringler, 96, of Muhlenberg Township, faithful servant of her Lord and Master, Jesus Christ, was called home to Glory on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 6:00 pm in her home. She was the wife of the late Bertram L. Ringler who passed away October 6, 1997 and to whom she was married to for over 60 years. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Tillie (Katzenmoyer) Rothenberger. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Reading, a devoted Christian she was the prayer warrior of her family, for which they are all so grateful and was a past chaplain of the Gideon Auxiliary. She and Bert owned and operated Ringler's Grocery Store for many years, later moving to California, where Millie was a telephone operator. Spending 26 years there they retired and returned to Pennsylvania to live out their lives.
She is survived by her sons Robert B. Ringler, husband of Carol M. Ringler of Ontelaunee Township; David E. Ringler, husband of Lynda L. Ringler with whom she last resided and Roy W. Ringler, husband of Kirke L. Ringler of Memphis, TN along with her 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by twin daughters hours after birth, two brothers Thomas and Harry Rothenberger and her sister Ruth Cassel.
Graveside service will be held in Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 West Neversink Road, Exeter Township, Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 12:30 pm. Reverend Nathaniel Naugle will officiate.
