Mildred Moyer

Mildred F. (Kachel) Moyer, 78, of Brecknock Twp., passed away September 29, 2010 in Wyomissing Nursing & Rehab Center where she resided since August 10th. She was the wife of Charles Arlan Moyer. Born in Alleghenyville on March 30, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Samuel L. and Ida M. (Geiger) Kachel.

Mildred was a 1950 graduate of Shillington High School and was a Life Member of Brecknock Fire Company Ladies Auxilary. She was a member of Allegheny Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was employed as a bookkeeper by Richard Rimby Builder for 15 years retiring in 1972.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son Glenn A. husband of Jaleen Moyer of Maple Grove, 5 grandchildren Devon wife of Todd Hanney of Mohnton, Brynn wife of Abe Beichner of Denver, Roy Duffin of Philadelphia, Grant Duffin of Las Vegas, Bradley Duffin of Mohnton, 3 great grandchildren Madeline and Riley Beichner and Wyatt Hanney and 2 sisters Shirley J. Kachel and Grace V. (Kachel) Schonour both of Mohnton. Mrs. Moyer was predeceased by a daughter Gail (Moyer) Duffin on May 16, 1995.
