Mildred Gray

Mildred Gray, 96, formerly of Reading, passed away December 26, 2009 at 9:20 PM in Golden Living Center where she resided since December 11th. She was predeceased by 2 husbands Eugene P. Hoffman in 1945 and Andrew Gray on June 13, 2004. Born in Birdsboro on November 16, 1913, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Howresko.

Mrs. Gray was employed for 20 years as a machine operator by Kelray Knitting in Reading.

Surviving are a daughter Barbara E. Hoffman in Philadelphia, 5 step grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren, 6 step great great grandchildren, 2 brothers John Howresko in Reading and Frederick M. Howresko in Long Beach, CA and a sister Catherine (Howresko) Haggerty in Ridley Park. She was predeceased by a step son Andrew Gray and a sister Ann (Howresko) Lukens.
