Mildred Drey

Mildred S. Drey, 87, of Shillington, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Phoebe Berks. She was the beloved wife of the late Ray C. Drey.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Irvin B. and Sarah G. (Staudt) Dickinson.

Mildred was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Shillington. She enjoyed knitting, playing bingo, baking, and cooking. Mildred was known for her chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter balls. She was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Mildred is survived by her son, Bradley Drey, of Shillington; daughter, Beverly Crooch, wife of Tony, of Sinking Spring; 4 grandchildren (Jeremy Drey, Abby Drey, Haley Crooch and Michael Crooch) ; 3 great-grandchildren (Jonah Drey, Mara Drey and Esme Drey); brother, Donald Dickinson, of Bernville; and sister, Verna Horvat, of Wernersville.

She was predeceased by her brother Leon Dickinson.
