Michael Wisniewski

Michael A. Wisniewski, 96, of Cumru Township, passed away March 1, 2011 at 12:03 pm in his residence of natural causes. He was the husband of Dorothy M. (Anuszewski) Wisniewski. He was preceded in death by his first wife Frances K. (Korczykowski) Wisniewski March 3, 1992. Born in West Hazleton, he was the son of the late Andrew T. and Josephine (Penkola) Wisniewski. He was a Sergeant for PA State Police Troop L in Kenhorst for 36 years retiring in 1974 and then was a tipstaff at Berks County Court House for 15 years. He was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his sons Michael A. Wisniewski II of Plowville and Mark S. Wisniewski of Sinking Spring along with a step daughter Karen A. Frey of Exeter Township. Also surviving are 6 step sons, 4 grandchildren, 13 step grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
