Michael Terefenko Sr

Michael Terefenko Sr., 91, of Reading, passed away November 29, 2008 at 5:05 AM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center where he was a patient since November 26th. He was the husband of Madeline E. (Kollar) Terefenko who passed away January 19, 1998. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Lukascz and Anna (Kosak) Terefenko. He was a US Marine veteran of WW2.
He was employed for 30 years as a full fashion knitter at the former Berkshire Knitting Mills retiring in 1965. Mr. Terefenko was a Life Member of American Legion Post 429 in Ephrata and a Life Member of Oakbrook Fire Company. He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
Surviving are a daughter, Sandra J. (Terefenko) wife of Samuel C. Bibbo of St. Lawrence, a son Michael Terefenko Jr husband of Darlene A. (Gapinski) Terefenko of Exeter Twp., 4 grandchildren Steven M. Bibbo Sr., Samandra A. Bibbo, Kevin M. Terefenko and Chad M. Terefenko, 3 great grandchildren Benjamin M. Terefenko, Lucas E. Terefenko and Steven M. Bibbo Jr., and 2 sisters Catherine (Terefenko) Terenchin of Kenhorst and Sophie (Terefenko) Kuczawa of Exeter Twp.
