Michael G. Stefanik Sr.

Michael G. Stefanik Sr., 86, of Spring Township, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024. Husband of the late Dorothy A. (Cotolese) Stefanik. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late George and Florence (Tatarewicz) Stefanik. Mike was employed as a Senior Design Engineer for Carpenter Technology Corporation before retirement in the 90’s. He served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army Security Agency. He was a member of St. Cyril & Methodius Slovak Catholic Church, Reading, PA. 

Mike is survived by his son Michael G. Stefanik Jr. and two daughters, Sabrina A. Kunkleman and Juli A. Stefanik. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A Prayer Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes 129 E. Lancaster Ave. Shillington, PA 19607 on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 10:30am. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home from 10:00am-10:30am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O.
