Michael Nodzak

Michael V. Nodzak, 83, of Spring Twp., passed away April 5, 2011 in Reading Hospital & Medical Center. He was the husband of Arlene J. (Paul) Nodzak. Born in Mt. Carmel on October 12, 1927, he was the son of the late John and Christina (Sculla) Nodzak.


Michael was a 1945 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School and served in the US Army during World War 2. He was employed as a computer programmer by General Battery and later Exide Battery for 35 years retiring in 1988. Mr. Nodzak was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church.


Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters Arlene J. (Nodzak) wife of Martin C. Radvanyi of Bern Twp. And Deborah A. (Nodzak) wife of Bruce J. Chambers of Wyomissing, 5 grandchildren Christopher Radvanyi, Michael Radvanyi, Jaime (Chambers) Isett, Scott Chambers and Jeffrey Chambers and 3 great grandchildren Trevor, Ryan and Dylan. He was predeceased by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Ignatius RCC, 2810 St. Albans Drive, Sinking Spring, PA 19608.
