Michael Machusic

Michael Machusic, 94, of Reading, passed away July 15, 2010 at 5:18 pm in his residence. He was a Loving Husband to Mary(Kovich)Machusic who passed away May 15, 2005. Born in Black Heath, PA, he was the son of the late John and Catherine(Makara)Machusic. Mr. Machusic was employed by Bethlehem Steel as a mechanic for many years, retiring in 1977. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and was a member of Nativity of The Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Reading. He was a Loving Father to Cheryl A. wife of Dale D. Kuhlman of Cumru Township and a Devoted and Loving Grandfather and Great Grandfather to Adrian M., Marielle J., Christian J. and Michelle J. along with his 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary Ache of Gilbertsvile and Ann Machusic of Schuylkill Haven. Mr. Machusic was preceded in death by his daughter, Elaine M. Hughes in 1983.
