Michael Losk, Sr

Michael N. Losk, Sr., 92, formerly of Reading, passed away October 22, 2010 at 7:30 pm in Sunrise of Fox Chapel Assisted Living Center in Cheswick, PA where he resided since October 19, 2009. He was the husband of Vera (Noga) Losk. Born in Reading he was the son of the late Nikita A. Losk and Anna (Kabala) Losk. Mr. Losk was employed as a letter carrier for United States Postal Service in Reading for 39 years retiring in June of 1981. He was a member of The Orthodox Church of St. Herman of Alaska and served in the United States Army during WWII engaged in 5 military invasions, received 2 purple hearts and 5 bronze stars. In addition to his wife he is survived by sons Michael N. husband of Susan E. Losk of Verona, PA and Thomas N. husband of Diane Losk of Cranberry Township, PA along with grandchildren Michael H. Losk, Karin E. Streily, Tatianna Losk and Zachary Losk as well as great grandchildren Zaine, Faithe, Gabriella and Alanna.
