Michael Heere

Michael K. Heere, 73, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at 1:00 am in Reading Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy J. (Slonaker) Heere. Born in Reading, Mr. Heere was the son of the late Edward and Lucille (Morris) Heere. He served in the United States Army and was a automobile salesman for Bayliss Oldsmobile and A.W. Golden. Mr. Heere was later employed as a caretaker for Muhlenberg Township Parks & Recreation last working Saturday, June 18, 2016. In addition to his wife Nancy, he was a Loving and Devoted Father to Cheryl L. Aman, wife of Alex Aman of Birdsboro and Michael K. Heere, Jr., husband of Marcy A. Heere of Muhlenberg Township along with being a loving and devoted grandfather to Emily and Brandon Heere. Mr. Heere is also survived by his sister Christine Kelley, wife of Henry Kelley of Cammirillo, California. He was an avid sports fan, especially a Philadelphia Eagles fan; railroad enthusiast and loved his family dearly.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Human Society of Berks County 1801 North 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604 in memory of Mr. Michael K. Heere.
