Michael Dorn

Michael J. Dorn has gone to meet the Lord and be with his loving wife Clara M. (Strausser) Dorn who passed away November 15, 1987, and other deceased loved ones. He was born March 24, 1913 in New Market, New Jersey to the late Agatha (Heft) and Paul Dorn. He was a baker at Maiers and Freihoffers bakeries then worked as a crane operator at Reading Tube for 30 years until retiring. He and his wife then traveled around the U.S. in a trailer until his wife's health deteriorated. Mike and his wife built a home and spent most of their life in Gibraltar. His final time was spent in ManorCare of Sinking Spring. Surviving are a daughter Jean F. Garrison, wife of David of Mohnton; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 2 sons Jerald A. Dorn and Bruce K. Dorn and 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
