Maynard B. Koch

Maynard B. Koch, 81, of West Lawn, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Country Meadows, Wyomissing. He was the loving husband of over 40 years to Elaine J. Koch (Snyder) before her passing on December 2, 2023. Born in Robesonia, Maynard was the son of the late Melvin and Emily (Gassert) Koch. Maynard worked as a Brick Layer for over 30 years for Glen Gery. He was a avid NASCAR fan and loved watching anything sports related during his retirement, he was also a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church.

Mr. Koch is survived by his grandchildren Logan N. Pettinato husband of Erin Doherty of Wernersville, Daniel Pettinato of Phildelphia, Carly Bieber of Berks County, Aaron Bieber of Berks County.  He is also survived by his sisters, Nancy Schaeffer and Judy Hartman.

Maynard was preceded in death by his children, Wendy L. (Bieber) Pettinato and Brian Bieber, as well as his is brother, John Koch.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 11:00 am.  Reverend Terry Cooney to officiate. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
