Matilda Gaetani

Matilda T. Gaetani, 93, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022 at 11:20 am at Berks Heim.  She was the wife of the late Joseph Gaetani who passed away February 1994.  Born in Reading, Mrs. Gaetani was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Ersilia (Blasi) Valeriani.  She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church.  Mrs. Gaetani is survived by her children Joseph P. Gaetani, husband of Diane P. Gaetani of Muhlenberg Township; Kris M. Guarino, wife of Sonny Guarino of Virginia; her grandchildren Jason Gushue, Corrine Smith, Nick Gaetani and her great grandchildren Carleigh Smith and Anna Hope Gaetani.  Mrs. Gaetani was preceded in death by her siblings Francis “Sock” Valeriano, Philip “Flip” Valeriano, Jacob “Spike” Valeriano, Camillo Valeriano, Felcia Guidotto, Anna Sfameni, Amelia Valeriano, Gilda Perrotti, Florence Gallo, Frances “Kena” Santoni.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church 3121 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, Friday, December 30, 2022 at 11:00 am.  Reverend E. Michael Camilli, Celebrant.  Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church Friday from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.  Bean Funeral Home, 1605 Rockland Street, Hampden Heights is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
