Mary Zdunowski

Mary A. Zdunowski, 99, of Reading, passed away on December 29, 2018 at The Reading Hospital.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Wanda (Zelinski) Ward.
Mary was the matriarch of a loving family and was a wonderful mother and granny. She will be remembered for her wit and love of politics and her skill as a seamstress, embroiderer, baker and gardener. She was a lifelong member of the former St. Anthony's of Padua R.C. Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. Zdunowski; son, Michael J. Zdunowski; sister, Anna Bocknack and brother, Edward Ward.
She is survived by her children: Patricia M. Zdunowski of New York, NY and Peter C. Zdunowski of Reading. Also surviving are grandchildren: Amy Zdunowski-Roeder, Kristen Artines, and Nicole Sjoblom; great-grandchildren: Zane Roeder, Violet Artines, and Jamie Artines; and daughter-in-law, Stella Zdunowski.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. John Baptist de La Salle, R.C. Church, 42 Kerrick Rd, Shillington, on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 10:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives at Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington, on Friday from 8-9:15AM. The Interment will follow the Mass at St. Mary's Cemetery.
