Mary Sullivan

Mary E. Sullivan, 84, formerly of Spring and Muhlenberg Townships passed away September 12, 2008 at 3:38 am in Kutztown Manor a resident for one month. She was taken to Kutztown Manor from Assisted Living at Hearthstone at Maidencreek where she resided for two years. She was the wife of the late Francis J. Frank Sullivan who passed away November 28, 2003. Born in St. Clair, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Marcella (Carlin) Powell. Mrs. Sullivan was a graduate of St. Clair High School and the Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing in 1945. She was a registered nurse for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and a member of St. Ignatius Loyola RCC. She is survived by sons, James F. husband of Kathleen L. Sullivan of Whitfield; Robert D. husband of Christine Sullivan of Lower Heidelberg Township and a daughter Patricia L. wife of Michael A. Sewards of Allentown. She is also survived by grandchildren Kelli, wife of Mark McCoy; Kristina; Adriana; Alyssa; and Alaina, step grandchilren, Mark; Todd; Pamela and Amy and 12 step great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Marcella Bryant of Greensboro, NC and Patricia Forster of Schuylkill Haven.
