Mary Jean Perry, 70, of Spring Township, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Donald A. Perry, of Spring Township. Together they shared 48 amazing years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late David and Mary (Sheldon) Archibald.
Mary was a 1973 graduate of Lock Haven University earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. She worked for various districts as a School Teacher for many years.
Mary was a volunteer at the Sinking Spring Public Library. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, baking, spending time with her grand kids and visiting the Jersey Shore.
Mary had a heart of gold, her gentle soul and warm kindness will truly be missed.
In addition to her husband Donald A. Perry, she is survived by her daughter Karen M. Colello, wife of Jeremy Colello, of Wayne, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Lauren & Jacob; and brothers, David Archibald, Thomas Archibald, and John Archibald.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes 129 E. Lancaster Ave. Shillington, PA 19607 on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00pm. Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00pm-2:00pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Berks County Public Library System at https://www.berkslibraries.org/donate.
