Mary E. Obarow

Mary E. Obarow, 101, formerly of Oley, passed away Tuesday November 12, 2024 at 6:58 pm at Berks Heim. She was the wife of the late Nick Obarow, Jr. who passed away January 19, 2005. Born in West Reading, Mrs. Obarow was the daughter of the late William and Katharine L. (Stitzel) Wagner. She attended West Reading High School and was a founding member of New Life Bible Fellowship Church in Oley and was very active in their missions programs. Mrs. Obarow is survived by her children Nick Obarow, III husband of Doreen S. Obarow of Wyomissing; Craig D. Obarow husband of Barbara J. Obarow of Oley; Christine L. Heffentrager wife of Sidney R. Heffentrager of Birdsboro; Timothy B. Obarow husband of Michele Obarow of Ohio and her 4 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Emily Jean a resident at Berks Heim.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring Friday, November 22, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to New Life Bible Fellowship Church 2960 West Philadelphia Ave. Oley, PA 19547 in memory of Mrs. Mary E. Obarow.
