Mary Harris

Mary D. Harris, 98, formerly of Reading, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at 4:00 pm in Wyomissing Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Nicholas Harris who passed away May 24, 1979. Born in Homestead, PA, Mrs. Harris was the daughter of the late Spiros and Effie (Anastasidis) DeVage. She was a member of Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church. Mrs. Harris is survived by her son Christopher N. Harris, husband of Mary C. Harris of Mohrsville and her grandchildren Nicholas, Michael and James and her 4 great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister Stella Ninfo of Reading and she was preceded in death by her siblings Thomas, James, Bessie and Anna.
Funeral Service will be held in Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church 1001 East Wyomissing Blvd. Reading, PA 19611, Monday, August 7, 2017 at 11:00 am. Reverend Thomas L. Pappalas will officiate. Interment will follow in Zion Lutheran & Reformed Cemetery, Womelsdorf. The family will receive relatives and friends in Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church Monday 10:00-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church at above address in memory of Mrs. Mary D.Harris.
