Mary Hains

Mary Jean (Rutolo) Hains, 79, of Lewes, DE and formerly of Crestwood, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was born in Reading on Monday July 27, 1931 the daughter of the late Andrew C. and Lucille (Edwards) Rutolo.

She was a resident of Lewes for the past 15 years. She worked for Bell of PA, which later became Verizon from 1951 until her retirement in 1988.

She enjoyed having lunch with her friends in Reading and Delaware. In her younger days, she always enjoyed fishing and boating with her husband on the Indian River Bay. She was a loving and caring person who will be greatly missed by her loving husband.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert A. Hains of Lewes; one sister Joan L. (Rutolo) widow of Richard K. Fox of Exeter Twp.; one niece Shannon Spohn wife of Terry Spohn of West Lawn; one nephew Richard A. Fox, Sr. husband of Tracy Fox of Reading; four grand nieces and one grand nephew.
