Mary Gehret

Mary A. Gehret, 97, of Fleetwood, passed away January 10, 2011 at 3:00 pm in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township. She was the wife of the late Alvin L. Gehret. Born in Berks County, she was the daughter of the late James K. and Mary E. (Knufmann) Brisan. Mrs. Gehret was a sewing machine operator for Doe-Spun for 3 years and Custom Sportswear for 22 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, was an avid bowler loved to knit and read. She is survived by her son I. James, husband of Marie Adams of Dagsboro, Delaware, grandchildren James R. husband of Lori Adams, Michele I. Brice, Heather M. wife of David Ash, great grandchildren, Megan, Jenna, Christopher, Jessica, Travis, Brittany, Alyson, Joshua, and great great grandchild, Kole.
