Mary Davis

Mary Lee Davis, 74, of Earl Township, passed away at her home on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 9:53 am. She was the beloved wife of Lytton C. Davis, born in Yeadon, PA. She was the daughter of Helen (Feeney) Faherty of Southampton, PA and the late Edward Faherty. Mary Lee was a devout catholic, beloved wife & mother, and was a self-employed business woman, Realtor, and artist. She attended Cardinal Dougherty High School and Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. She was an active member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church of Douglassville and Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township. In addition to her husband Lytton, Mrs. Davis is survived by her children T. Patrick Davis, husband of Mary M. Davis, Matthew Davis, husband of Sheri D. Davis, Mari-Lyn Miller, wife of Ralph J. Miller, Olivia E. Ruff, all of Earl Township; Loretta Davis of Reading and John Lytton Davis, husband of Jennifer P. Davis of Boston, Massachusetts, along with her 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Elizabeth Faherty Rodd, wife of Edwin "Skeeter" Rodd of Kintnersville, PA; Bartholomew Faherty, husband of Carol Faherty of Southampton, PA; Shaun Cooper, wife of Wayne Cooper of Novato, CA and Edward Faherty of Southampton, PA. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her sister Helena Faherty. Also survived by a special friend of the family, Jeffery A. Hartman.


Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Township, Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 10:00 am. Reverend Monsignor Edward R. Domin, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Most Blessed Sacrament Cemetery, Bally. The family will receive relatives and friends in Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church Wednesday 8:00-9:45 am.
