Mary Capano

Mary Lou Capano, 84, of Douglasville, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11:35 am in the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Frank R. Capano. Born in Berks County, Mrs. Capano was the daughter of the late Clarence and Marie (Yerger) Gilbert. She attended Boyertown High School and was former president of IBEW at Federal-Mogul. Mrs. Capano is survived by her son Maurice Townsley, husband of Theresa Townsley of Monterey, California and her granddaughter Lauren Taddeucci. She is also survived by her sisters Josephine Walt; Rosalee Schoenly; Shelly Talarico and Paula Bartosevich and was preceded in death by her sister Julia Stetler. Mary was a loving, fun and sweet woman who will be greatly missed by all, including her many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
A gathering will be held at her home 219 Pleasant View Drive, Douglassville, PA on Wednesday, July 26th from 4:00 - 6:00pm to Celebrate her Life. All family and friends are welcome.
