Martin Wanner

Martin P. Wanner, 88, passed away June 22, 2011 8:35am in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center, prior to that he was a resident at Golden Living Center since August 2010.

Born on December 3, 1922 in Alsace Township, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary (Davies) Wanner and the husband of Alice J. (Lloyd) Wanner who passed away in 1975.

Mr. Wanner was a truck driver for Branch Motor Express for 20 years. He was an Army veteran.

Surviving are 7 children: Marti-Ann (Wanner) Diaz, fiance' of Jorge E. Alvarado Castro of West Lawn, Paula A. Wanner, Marilyn (Wanner) wife of Lin Raymond of New Jersey, Michael E. husband of Gina Wanner of Korea, Jeffrey Wanner of Texas, Steve Wanner of Reading, Rick Wanner of Reading. He was predeceased by a son Thomas Wanner. There are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister Betty Christman a resident at St. Villa of Elizabeth.
