Martin Rudolph, 98, formerly of Shillington, passed away March 8, 2016 in Berks Heim.
He was the widower of Helen J. (Kiwak) Rudolph, who passed away in 2013.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Jacob R. and Jenny (Mazur) Rudolph.
Mr. Rudolph was a graduate of Reading High School. He was employed at Reading Company Railroad in Reading as a welder/freight car repairman for 35 years, retiring in 1975.
Survivors include children Harold Rudolph, husband of Yvonne, NY; Joyce J. DuGuay, wife of Lester, Reading; Barbara A. Oxenreider, wife of Ronald, Bernville; Carolyn Faust, wife of Bruce, Reading; Robert L. Schoelkopf, husband of Sheila Dean, Brigantine, NJ; Eleven grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by son Marlin Rudolph and a grandson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Rudolph's memory to Marine Mammal Stranding Center, 3625 Atlantic Brigantine Blvd., Brigantine, NJ 08203.
Services will be held in Bean Funeral Homes, 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington on Monday March 14, 2016 at 11:00am, Rev. Kerry L. Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends 10:00-11:00am.
