Martha Kamm

Martha R. Kamm, 100, of Sinking Spring, passed away January 15, 2011 at 3:50 pm in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Herbert H. and Annie May (Shultz) Kamm. She was a graduate of Reading Girls High School and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Reading. Ms. Kamm was a secretary for the Traveler's Insurance Company for 48 1/2 years retiring January 1, 1976. She served as church organist and choir director at St. Luke's UCC in Shillington for 5 years and at Trinity UM Church in Reading for 25 years. She is survived by her friend Jane G. Yocom with whom she last resided, brother Herbert A. Kamm of Ocala, Florida, Sisters, Dorothy J. Whitman of Gettysburg and Viola J. Warefield of St. Petersburg, Florida.
