Mark Ruckman

Mark W. Ruckman, 61 of Montgomery Village, Maryland, formerly of Sinking Spring, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 in Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville, Maryland. Born in Missouri, he was the son of Audrey A. (Warren) Ruckman of Sinking Spring and the late Homer L. Ruckman. Mark was a 1973 graduate of Wilson High School and a 1977 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in experimental physics. He received his Doctorate degree in experimental physics from Rensler Poly Tech in New York. He was a lead physicist at Brookhaven National Labs in Long Island, New York and also served in the same position at Uni Fusion Systems in Gaithersburg, Maryland. In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by his sister Carol L.F. Ruckman of Sinking Spring.
Graveside Service will be held in Pleasant View Cemetery, 650 Fritztown Road, Sinking Spring, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 10:00 am. Reverend Paul L. Jones will officiate.
