Marjorie Mae Bubbenmoyer

Marjorie Mae Bubbenmoyer, 84, formerly of Bern Township, passed away Wednesday May 17, 2023 at 5:23 am at Phoebe Berks Health Care Center.  She was the wife of the late Rodney C. Bubbenmoyer who passed away November 14, 2021.  Born in Reading, Mrs. Bubbenmoyer was the daughter of the late Ralph and Florence Mabel (Butterwine) Katerman.  She was employed by various manufacturing companies in the Reading area as a sewing machine operator unitl her retirement.  Mrs. Bubbenmoyer is survived by her children Beverly A. Kuhns wife of Elmer M. Kuhns, Jr. of Reading; David A. Bubbenmoyer husband of Penny L. Bubbenmoyer of West Lawn; Andrea B. Brossman wife of Carl S. Brossman of Leesport and her 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sisters Dolly Bailey of Bern Township and Rosalie Thomas of Middletown.  Mrs. Bubbenmoyer was preceded in death by her son Daniel A. Bubbenmoyer grandsons Joshua S. Brossman and Kasey D. Bubbenmoyer and her great grandson Louis Rivera.

Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 12:00 pm.  Amy S. Landis, Celebrant will officiate.  Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.  The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County 58 Kennel Drive Birdsboro, PA 19508 or Alzheimer’s Foundation of America 322 8^th Ave. 16^th Floor, New York, NY 10001 in memory of Mrs. Marjorie Mae Bubbenmoyer.  Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
