Marilyn E. Vojtasek

Marilyn E. Vojtasek, 79, of Wernersville, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 12:30 am at Reading Hospital. She was the wife of John A. Vojtasek. Born in Reading, Mrs. Vojtasek was the daughter of the late Frank and Eleanor (Ziolkowski) Waszk. She was a member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church and was an administrative assistant at Penn State Berks Campus until her retirement in 2006. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Vojtasek is survived by her sons Matthew J. Vojtasek husband of Valerie Vojtasek of Gilbertsville; Christopher M. Vojtasek husband of Penny J. Vojtasek of Blandon and her 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Francis Gerhard wife of Barry Gerhard of Mohnton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church 2600 St. Alban’s Drive, Sinking Spring, Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 11:00 am. Reverend George Osei Ababio, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at the Chapel of Saint George at Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive relatives and friends at Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church Thursday from 9:15 am to 10:45 am.
